Engineered Stone Be?
Artificial marble consists of 75% - 90% of marble fractions and 10% - 24% of resins, polymers, and synthetic colors, in order to obtain patterns and colors that are as close as possible to natural marble, and also make the price of artificial marble cheaper than natural marble.
Artificial marble slabs can provide realistic patterns at a lower price point. Therefore, there are quite a few limitations in terms of use. Internal installation is more suitable than outdoor installation that is exposed to sun and rain, as the resin polymer mixture that is not heat resistant and the relatively high water penetration rate is not suitable for outdoor installation.
Artificial marble with mounting
Due to its relatively moderate strength and higher water absorption rate, artificial marble is best suited for installation in areas with lighter usage or where it is not directly exposed to water and sunlight. Examples of suitable applications include artificial marble wall panels, countertops, with a particular emphasis on wall installations such as TV walls, living room walls, and hallway walls.
Features of artificial marble
The main feature of artificial marble is that the pattern can closely imitate natural marble and also comes in a variety of colors, including artificial marble, white, black, gray, cream. Siamtak has more than 25 designs to choose.
Disadvantages of artificial marble
With a mixture of artificial marble made from marble fragments, artificial marble retains some porosity, allowing for water absorption. Consequently, it is unsuitable for installations in areas exposed to water, high humidity, direct sunlight, or outdoor environments. Additionally, the polymers employed in artificial marble are prone to wear and tear over time.
